NMAAHC Kids Story Time: The Way Champs Play



Designed for ages 4-8 and adult caregivers

Celebrate Black History Month with a special NMAAHC Kids Story Time! This free event requires registration, which will open in January 2025. Participants will learn about history-making Olympians through an interactive story titled *The Way Champs Play* by tennis champion Naomi Osaka. The program includes sport-inspired games and a chance to celebrate personal accomplishments with a gold medal craft. The schedule features ongoing Create & Explore Time from 10:30 AM to 12:45 PM, read-alouds at 10:45 AM and 11:45 AM, and Children's Gallery Tours at 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, showcasing athlete statues and objects such as Althea Gibson’s racket, Tommie Smith’s Olympic uniform, and LeBron James’ shoes.
